    Iakov Khaimov is a prominent artist associated with the Moscow impressionist school of painting. He studied at the Art School “In Memory of 1905” and graduated from the Art Studio at the Moscow Union of Artists. Khaimov furthered his education at the Institute V.I. Surikov, where he was influenced by notable artists such as I. Grabar, A. Osmyorkin, P. Shemyakin, and B. Ioganson. During World War II, he was evacuated to Uzbekistan and continued his artistic pursuits under the guidance of S. Gerasimov. Khaimov is known for his plein air painting style and has participated in major art exhibitions since 1946. He was closely associated with artists like A. Lentulov, V. Favorsky, A. Deineka, S. Gerasimov, and G. Ryazhsky.
