    Imeldo Corral González, born in Ferrol, Spain on June 7, 1889 and died in the same city on November 8, 1976, was a Galician painter, considered one of the best Galician painters of his time, leaving a production of more than two thousand works, especially in the landscapes and marinas of its region, with titles such as Mañan de fogo, A corredoira, Rio de Sáa, O Souto, Autorretrato, Bretema en San Paulo Sobre, Sunshine in chestnut trees ...

    He was a permanent member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of the Rosary of A Coruña and honorary member of the Artistic Society of Ferrol. The city council of Ferrol awarded the Medal for Artistic Merit in 1976.
