    Irma Salo Jæger is an artist born and raised in Finland who settled in Norway after completing her master's degree in art history in her home country. She graduated from the Art Academy in Oslo in 1961 and had her first exhibition at UKS the same year. Salo Jæger has had an extensive artist career and is inspired by artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, and Piet Mondrian. She works with a non-figurative design language and is primarily interested in colors. Her approach to painting involves starting with a seemingly random discovery that contains a past experience, such as a happy moment at the beach.
