    Spanish artist, born on April 26, 1949. He studied at the Superior School of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona for five years.

    Isidoro Lázaro studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Jorge, in Barcelona, where he was a favorite student of José Puigdengolas. His painting is based on all the classical European schools, to which he owes his orderly compositions and his careful finish.

    Lázaro is a painter of gardens, like Fortuny, Sorolla and Rusiñol; and a painter of Rome, like the scholarship holders during the 19th century. He has had solo exhibitions in Madrid and Barcelona, in galleries such as Nonell (1985), Alcolea (1987) and Piquer (1989), as well as in Buenos Aires, in the ...
