    Jacek Sienicki (Warsaw, 29 February 1928 - Warsaw, 14 December 2000) studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where in 1954 he obtained a diploma in the studio of prof. Arthur Nacht-Samborski.
    In 1955 he was a participant of the Young Art Exhibition in the Warsaw Arsenal. Participation in this manifestation was not only the actual debut of the artist, but also for years described his attitude, shared with other "arsenals," whose principles are: primacy of ethics, skepticism towards passing artistic fashions, self-respect.

    In 1955, Sienicki took up teaching at his alma mater. He passed all academic levels, receiving the title of professor in 1981. He was the winner of major awards, including Kryty...
