Jack B. Yeats (1871-1957)

Yeats was born August 29, 1871 in London, England to John Butler Yeats and Susan Pollexfen Yeats. The family had two homes, one in London and the other Dublin, because his mother's parents lived in Sligo. Yeats' father pursed a career in law, and then in 1867 halted his legal work to become an artist.
