Typically he painted very large acrylic abstract expressionist paintings. He is a very early Second Generation abstract expressionist, showing at the Guggenheim Museum in1954 with Pollock, Motherwell, Kline, deKooning, etc. In addition to painting for over 50 years, and teaching mathematics for over 25 years, he wrote many math texts for the courses he taught, and after he...
