    Jacob Gildor was born in Germany in 1948. He is a painter and creates woodcuts.

    1970-72 Institute of Plastic Arts, Bat Yam Tel Aviv University, law advanced studies 1977 with Prof. Ernst Fuchs, Austria

    Awards and Prizes:
    1977 America-Israel Cultural Foundation
    1987 Israel Ministry of Education Prize - Atelier in Cite International des Arts, Paris

    In 1980-85 he joined the group, ''Meshusheh''. He was a member of the ''Hagsagon'' Group from 1984-87. In 1982 a book about his woodcuts was published. A major retrospective exhibition of his works," Segments of Creation", 1961-2009, was held in
