    Jacques Poirier IFA (1942)

    A Quebec painter and printmaker, Jacques Poirier was born in Drummondville and has lived in Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan for more than 30 years. He also has a second home in Saint-Irénée in the Charlevoix region. His work is in the permanent collection of the Quebec Museum of Fine Arts, Quebec City.

    His mediums include oil on canvas, watercolor and silk screen* prints. His primary subjects are landscapes and rural scenes of Quebec, western Canada, and the northern U.S.A.
