    Jadwiga Sawicka is a Polish artist known for her "written" painting style. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and has received scholarships from The Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the Ministry of Culture and Art. Sawicka works in various mediums such as painting, photography, objects, installations, and public space projects. She is associated with Otwarta Pracownia in Krakow and has collaborated with the Foksal Gallery in Warsaw. Sawicka's work often features large-format prints with black letters on a flesh-pink background, symbolically exploring themes of femininity and the human body. In 2003, she had a retrospective exhibition titled "Nothing Inside" showcasing her diverse body of work....
