    Born in Paris, 1892/02/10, dead in the concentration camp of Dachau (Germany), 1944/12/24. He was the grand son of the famous painter Jean-François Millet, son of the architect Charles-Louis-Emile Millet and father of the artist Jany-France Millet.

    Forger and painter, he teamed up with the copyist and art dealer Paul Cazot and authenticated more than forty oils and two hundred drawings falsely attributed to his grandfather, Jean-Francois Millet, the master of Barbizon. Many of those paintings were subsequently sold to Croal Thomson, director of Barbizon House, a London gallery.
