A native of Quebec, Desrosiers is often found painting in the streets of Old Quebec, his adopted city.

A land scape painter, his style is vigorous yet airy. His carefully planned work is most noticeable for a lack of superfluous details. A confirmed romantic, Desrosiers uses warm tones and an expert appreciation for light to conjure up fairy castles and a hint of the ethereal in sometimes charming but more often worn and tired buildings.
