    Yehuda (Istvan) Rodan, Painter. b. 1916, Transylvania.

    Studies: 1933-35 Nancy, France, medicine; also attended Beaux Arts Faculty; left medicine and studied with artist, Macalik, Romania; 1939 advanced studies with Hungarian painter, Adolf Fenyus.

    Prize: Nordau Prize of World Hungarian Jewry.

    In World War II was a forced laborer in concentration camp.

    1950-58 Headed artists' group and later was chosen to head local branch of Romanian Artists' Association.
    He immigrated to Israel in 1961.
