    J.C. Kuo (Kuo Jen-Chang) (b.1949)

    Born in Taiwan, he studied at the Li Chun-Shan studio. He graduated from the Fine Art Department of Culture at the Chinese College. He participated in countless exhibitions and group exhibitions all over the world. The most recent exhibitions he participated in includes 2004, "Contemporary Taiwanese Art in the Era of Contention" at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Cornell University, New York, U.S.A.(2004) ; "The Transitional Eighties Taiwan's Art Breaks New Ground" and "The Multiform Nineties: Taiwan's Art Branches Out", in Taipei Fine Art Museum (2004);"18 LOHANS", Main Trend Gallery (2005).

    Signatures of his paintings include thick black outline, bright colors, and collage of many medias.

    18 LOHANS, as well as other works shows his intention of exploring the essential value of human living and questioning the meaning of human existence.

    His works has been collected by Hara Museum ARC. Tokyo Japan, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taipei Fine Art Museum, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, Galleries, and art collectors around the world.
