    Jeno Martinelli (Budapest, October 3, 1886 -?, 1954 [1]) sculptor, medalist. From 1902 he was a student of the National School of Fine Arts of Hungary, and between 1905 and 1908 he was a pupil of Béla Radnai and his father, Martinelli Martinelli.

    After a long study trip to Paris and Rome, his first exhibition was held in 1911 in the Art Hall of Budapest. During his career he had several exhibitions here and in the National Salon, but he had several exhibitions abroad (Netherlands, Venice, Barcelona, Monza, etc.). After 1921 he was awarded several honors for his work, including the Halms Isidor Award.
    His style was characterized by academic formation, his favorite genres were portrait, act and religious statues as well as plaques....
