    Jerry Coker was born in Arkansas in 1938 but has spent most of his life in Florida. Best known for his tin masks, he also creates impressionistic paintings on any kind of material he finds. he masks are often modeled after people he remembers from his rural childhood.

    After a serious heart attack, he took an extended time off and made no art. He made a full recovery and is back into creating and selling his art.

    The Arkansas Art Center in Little Rock put on a one-man show for Coker entitled "Face Value." Jerry has since been featured in numerous exhibitions and has won awards at the Kentuck Festival of the Arts.

    Coker's work is also in several important collections including that of Microsoft.
