    Jerzy Fedkowicz was born in 1891 Stefanówka. He began his painting studies in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and in the years 1915-1921 he continued them in W. Weiss's studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. From 1918, Jerzy Fedkowicz showed his works at exhibitions. In the years 1919-1922 he exhibited three times with the avant-garde group of Formists. From 1921 to 1923 he was on a scholarship in Paris, and after returning he worked as a drawing teacher in Krakow. After World War II, he became a professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Initially, Fedkowicz's painting underwent various influences and transformations, from the W.
