    Joan Pere Viladecans was a self-taught painter and engraver. Since starting his career in 1967, he has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including his participation in group exhibitions in different European countries. He was one of the artists selected to represent the Generalitat de Catalunya at Expo '92 in Seville.

    Awards and prizes:

    honor of Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (1996)

    Award of Excellence from the Society New Design in New York (1997).

    Second prize of the Ministry of Culture to book best illustrated by "All the stories of Edgar Allan Poe" Editorial Galaxia Gutenberg / Ballantine Books. Madrid (2003).
