About Joanna Polkosnik

I was born in Hajnowka, Poland. Drawing and painting has been my greatest passion, almost from the day I was born. The topics of my paintings come from observing everyday life, catching unique, fleeting moments. My art work feels like intimate imagining of my own reality, which draws my attention in any given moment of life. I am currently focusing on painting landscape of the Narew National Park. That is where I live with my family. I watch animals and birds around me and then put them on abstract background. I try to recreate diverse creatures on emotional, colourful background.
