Joel Kirk is a British painter known for his Photorealist style. Born in Dorking, United Kingdom, Kirk attended the Southend College of Art and started his career as a commercial artist. He travels the world to create initial studies of his subjects in pastel and watercolor before transferring them to larger canvases in his studio. Kirk's realist techniques are comparable to artists like Julie Bell and Timothy Barr.
