The Düsseldorf landscape painter, Johann Jungblut was the father of artists Emil and Hans Walter Jungblut. First as a craftsman at Villeroy & Boch Mettlach, he was active since 1885 in Dusseldorf as a painter. He favored Dutch and Norwegian motifs. American and German museums have pictures of the artist.
