    Cook, John Alfred, oils and water colors; born in Gloucester, Mass., March 14, 1871(sic); son of Leonard and Frances (Stickney) C.; studied in Cowles Art School and also under Joseph De Camp, Douglass Volk, and Ernest L. Major;

    Exhibited at the Boston Art Club, etc. Summer studio, 351 E. Main St.., Winter studio, 16 Sayward St., E. Gloucester, Mass.
