People knew Grace only as a popular teacher's aide in the Jewish Community Center in Reading for nearly 30 years, retiring in the mid-1980s. For half a century, Grace Zaparata and her husband, Sebastian, lived quietly and frugally in a tiny Rockland Township cottage adjacent to the Sally Ann Furnace mansion.
People knew Grace only as a popular teacher's aide in the Jewish Community Center in Reading for nearly 30 years, retiring in the mid-1980s.
What they didn't know was her past, and the art treasures stored with her memories at the cottage.
