    John Caggiano

    Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1949, Caggiano received his B.A. from Brooklyn College and a MFA from the Pratt Institute. He furthered his studies through courses at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. He paints in the plein aire approach with a bright and colorful palette in an impressionism/realism style. He relocated to Cape Ann in 1980 and has maintained a gallery in Rockport, Massachusetts from 1981- on. Caggiano was the President of the Rockport Art Association from 1991 to 1993 and served on its board of governors for 16 years.
