    John Jon-And, census Johan Erik Algot Jonand , originally Andersson , born March 8, 1889 in Gothenburg, died November 2, 1941 in Stockholm, was a Swedish illustrator, set designer and artist.

    John Jon-And was the son of the builder Olle Johan Andersson. After completing primary school, he studied for periods until 1912 Valand, 1908–1909 he undertook a study trip in Germany and England and was 1913–1914 a student of the Cubist Henri Le Fauconnier in Paris. At Valand, John met the artist Agnes Cleve. They married in 1915 and had a son Per-Erik and moved to Stockholm, where John Jon-And 1914–1916 was employed as a newspaper cartoonist for Svenska Dagbladet.
