    John Noble Barlow

    An Obituary written by Florence Nightingale Levy printed in the 1916-1917, Volume 14, page 319 of the American Arts Directory produced by the American Federation of the Arts, reads as follows,” Barlow, John Noble – A painter, died at St. Ives, Cornwall, England. March 24, 1917. He was born in Manchester, England in 1861 and became a citizen of the United States in 1887.

    He was a pupil of Jules-Joseph Lefebvre, Paul Delance, and Benjamin-Jean-Joseph Constant in Paris.
