    John Richard Fox CGP (1927 – 2008)

    A prominent Canadian painter, draftsman, printmaker, sculptor and educator, Professor John Fox was born in Montreal, Quebec and died in Venice, Italy, where he had been visiting yearly since the mid 1970s. His life is the subject of an article in the Canadian Encyclopedia and his works are in the collections of over a dozen major Canadian museums including the National Gallery of Canada. (1)

    His mediums included oils, acrylics, watercolors, gouache*, spray gun, pastel, charcoal, pencil, pen & ink, collage*, etching, serigraph, bronze bas relief* and mixed mediums.
