    A prominent Canadian painter, draftsman, and educator, John Wentworth Russell was born in Binbrook, Ontario (near Hamilton); lived in Paris, France for over 20 years (c. 1904 – 1927); and, died in Toronto, Ontario where he had lived since 1927. While living in Paris he exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Francais*. In Canada his works were exhibited with the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts...
