Bae Joon-Sung was born in Kwangju and graduated from M.F.A. Graduate School of Seoul National University in 2000. He participated in The 2nd Gwangju Biennale in his student year. In 2000, Bae participated in France's Rencontre d'Arles and The Costume of Painter-travel with C. Lacroix was held in Daelim Contemporary Art Museum. Bae's The Costume of Painter series has been exhibited in Korea and France from 2002 to 2006 and he has conducted numerous art fairs and group exhibitions worldwide.
