    Outside of any political reference, Jorge González Camarena enriched his art through civil, everyday, philosophical and allegorical themes. He studied at the Academy of San Carlos and at the end of his studies ventured into the medium of advertising as an illustrator of magazines, calendars and books; among those projects, the image of "La Patria, 1959" stands out, which is shown on the cover of free textbooks at the primary level.
