Jorge Obregon was born in 1972 in Mexico. He studied a degree in Visual Arts at the National School of Visual Arts. Thanks to his many trips around the world, his painting has been able to demonstrate the richness of a landscape, a genre that today has been considered almost outdated and which he recovers contemporaneously by his undoubted obsession with observation. Thus, Obregon has shown that nature can be targeted not only as an aesthetic but as a geographical document in which the history of a habitat can be investigated. His love for volcanoes has led him to practice mountaineering and therefore outdoor painting, however, when he does not paint from the heights, he flies over the areas and realizes perspectives that adorn his pain"Jorge Obregon, Mexico, land of volcanoes".
