Born in the city of Porto. He currently lives and works in Lisbon. Between 1976 and 1981, he attended the Painting course at the Escola Superior de Belas-Artes in Lisbon. His work focuses essentially on sculpture and drawing. He has participated in individual and group exhibitions since 1981, some of which stand out:
