Joseph Aaron is a California plein-air impressionist painter dedicated full time to the depiction of outdoor scenes such at those of the early California impressionists and of Ovanes Berberian with whom he has studied. Although he also paints still life and floral subjects, his focus lies primarily with landscapes. His favorite subjects are drawn from the areas of Santa Barbara and Ojai, north up the coast, to Morro Bay.

Aaron was recently listed in Davenport's Art Reference & Price Guide as well as The Artists Bluebook.

He was born in Southern California in 1959. During his high school years, he expressed his art interest through drawing, but did not actively pursue an art career...
