    The following, submitted November 2004, is from Ian Tasker. His source is the following message from his sister, Mrs. Tyler who was Miss Christine Tasker when she knew Pannett.

    "In 1965, Juliet Pannett came to P & O's very newest ship, the Canberra,as the main attraction for the cruise. She was to talk and give demonstrations of her ability to portray, with what appeared to be incredible speed and ease, the likeness of anything she saw.

    I was newly appointed as the Tourist Hostess and so I had to introduce her to the passengers, and act as chairman during her teaching sessions. This was the beginning of P & O having celebrities as added attractions to their cruises. I was very nervous,but she put me and her large audiences imm...
