A number of Western masters, such as Ingres, Delacroix, and Matisse were graduates of that school, as well as Chinese artists who worked in the oil medium such as Lin Fengmian, Liu Haisu, Xu Beihong, Pan Yuliang, and Wu Guanzhong.
