    Junius Allen (1898–1962) was an American painter known for his naturalistic coastal landscapes and harbor scenes.


    Allen studied at the New York School of Fine and Applied Arts and the National Academy of Design, refining his skills under notable instructors. He was an academician of the National Academy of Design and a member of the Salmagundi Club, where he later served as president from 1957 to 1959.

    His paintings were exhibited widely, including at the 1939 New York World's Fair, and are now held in collections such as
