    Karl E. Wood (1944 - 1990)

    A well known western Canadian artist, Karl E. Wood was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and died in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. He lived and worked in several communities in western Canada including Victoria, B.C. (c.1950s - 1960s); North Vancouver, B.C. (c.1960s - 1972); Westbank, B.C. (1972 - 1984); and the 'Ghost River region northwest of Cochrane, Alberta' (after 1984). He belonged to a family of well known artists: his father was Robert E. Wood (1919 - 1980) and his sons are Robert E. Wood (b. 1972) and James E. Wood (b.1974).
