    Born in Boston, Kevin Doyle is known for bold figurative, floral still lifes and marine paintings. His drawn figure studies feature rounded shapes as influenced by Matisse and Milton Avery. He mentored Jean-Michel Basquiat briefly in the early 80's and he remains an avid collector of both Basquiat and Avery.

    His work is featured on the walls of Boston's State Street Bank, Crosby Boat Builders on Cape Cod, David E Kelley Productions and the United Bank of Switzerland, as well as the municipal collections of Chatham, MA and Brattleboro VT.

    Doyle also participates in a Member's Exhibit at Provincetown Art Association and Museum.
