    Britov Kim Nikolaevich was a Russian painter born in 1925 in the Vladimir Region. He studied at the Mstyora Art School and the Vladimir Art Studio with N.P. Sychev.

    Britov participated in all-Union and international exhibitions beginning in 1954 and had his first personal exhibition in 1975. He was awarded the Gold medal of the Russian Academy of Arts and the Levitan Prize.

    Britov's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Vladimir-Suzdal Historical, Artistic and Architectural Museum-Reserve, as well as in museums and private collections in the DPRK, the USA, and Germany.
