    Konstantin Szewczenko was born in 1910 in Warsaw. He was a painter who studied in the studio of Felicjan Kowarski and Tadeusz Pruszkowski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1928-32. He mainly painted easel pictures, genre scenes and portraits. Szewczenko was the creator of the set design at the Rozmaitosci Theater in 1934-35. He collaborated with the publishing house "Atlas" in Lviv, and he published illustrations in "Kurier Poranny". He is the author of portraits of Ignacy Moscicki, Edward Rydz-Smigly, and he created a series entitled: "Polish regional types" and "Semitic types". He has exhibited at home and abroad. His works are in the collection of the Polish Army Museum.

    Born in Warsaw in 1915, the Ukrainian-Polish painter Konstantin Szewczenko depicts mostly Rabbis and other Jewish subjects. He studied at the Warsaw Academy of Arts and exhibited in Poland and abroad.
