    Painter, cartoonist, set designer. He studied at the Lódz PWSSP under the direction of Wladyslaw Strzeminski. He was on a scholarship to Paris from 1948-49, where he attended Fernand Léger's Académie Moderne. He co-founded the ST-53 GROUP. In the 1950s, he painted dynamic paintings with geometrically simplified human and animal figures. In the late 1950s, he began to be fascinated by the matter and texture of the painting. Around 1970, his "structural (biological) painting is transformed into constructivist (geometric) painting. He was a participant of the KOSZALIN OUTDOORS in Osieki (1964), BIENNALE OF SPATIAL FORMS in Elblag (1965).
