Léon-Ernest Drivier, a French sculptor, was a student of Barrias at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He worked in Auguste Rodin's studio from 1907 and was part of the "Bande à Schnegg" alongside artists like Charles Despiau, Alfred Jean Halou, Jane Poupelet, and Robert Wlérick. In 1937, he contributed to the decoration of the Palais de Chaillot with his work "La joie de vivre." Drivier created numerous busts and received public commissions for commemorative monuments. His works can be found in public collections such as the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Musée Despiau-Wlérick in Mont-de-Marsan, the Musée des Années Trente in Boulogne-Billancourt, and the Musée de Grenoble, his birthplace....
