  • Biography

Leopold Fertbauer, born in 1802 in Vienna, the son of a watchmaker. From 1816 to 1820 he studied landscape and history painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In the annual Academy exhibitions, he appears regularly in the years 1822-1835.
