    Liuboslav Hutsaliuk was born in Lvov, Ukraine on April 2, 1923. He became a United States citizen early in life. He studied at the Cooper Union Art School. Hutsaliuk triumphed over hardship and suffering during World War II to become an artist whose paintings are full of joy and beauty. His paintings are full of color, applied with a palette knife, vibrant, bright, glowing with light.

    His work is found in the Palm Springs Desert Museum, Vermont Art Center, Manchester, VT, Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris. He was a member of the Audubon Artists.

    Liuboslav (Luba) Hutsaliuk died December 16, 2003.
