Lothar Charoux was a painter, designer and teacher whose oeuvre is attributable to the expressionism and constructivism. First art class was the native of Vienna from his uncle, the sculptor, painter and draftsman Siegfried Charoux.

In 1928 the young artist moved to Brazil, where he was a study painting under Waldemar da Costa recorded at the Liceu de Artes e Oficios de São Paulo.
