    Louis Archambault left his home in Massachusetts to study architecture and art at Montana State ('69), where he has practiced most of his + 35 year career. He first became registered to practice architecture in 1974 by the state of New York while working for a 180 person architectural office. Back to Montana, he did design-build, his own practice of art and architecture, and parking design and administration for the City of Missoula.

    From 1978 through 1986 the U.S. Forest Service employed him as an Architect, Facility Manager, and Regional Architect, where he was credited with over 30 completed buildings and specialties of daylighting, energy conservation, and solar heating and cooling.
