    Louis Riché, a pupil of Georges Gardet, began exhibiting at the Salon in Paris in 1896 at the age of nineteen. He showcased his sculptures at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1897, primarily focusing on naturalistic depictions of cats and dogs. Riché's talent was recognized and appreciated in prestigious Parisian Salons, where he worked with materials like bronze, wax, marble, and silver, with a preference for bronze.
