    Luigi Scrosati (1814 - Milan, 1869) was an Italian painter and decorator. While not trained in any academy, he was particularly active and appreciated in Milan in the mid-nineteenth century as a decorator of many urban and suburban mansions. Among these are Palazzo Poldi Pezzoli, Palazzo Litta, Villa Litta in Vedado, Villa Garland Silva in Cinisello (1852), Villa Amalia, Villa Sioli Legnani in Busselton, Villa Cramer to Alserio and Palazzo Serbelloni together with the Palazzos Bertini and Podesti.
