    Manuel Blesa Rodrigo was a Spanish painter, restorer, gilder, and ceramics collector (1945 Ariño in Teruel/Aragon to 2025 Sitges). He initially worked in the family-run hairdressing salon in Ariño. Around 1957, he was a drawing student of Alejandro Cañada in Zaragoza.

    From 1960, he lived in Barcelona, working as a hairdresser, waiter, antiques restorer, and flamenco guitarist. He took painting courses with Revello de Toro at the art school "La Llotja" and was largely self-taught. From 1970, he had a temporary and from 1972 a permanent studio in Sitges, Catalonia.

    He regularly spent winters in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. His exhibitions include Sitges, Tokyo, Barcelona, New York, Vienna, Zaragoza,...
