    The Belgian Marc Hardy (born in 1952) is part of the generation that succeeds the founding geniuses of the Belgian comics: Jijé, Franquin, Morris, Peyo, Will, Roba... Very young he became assistant to Mittéï, Seron and Aidans before drawing Arkel (1984) for Stephen DeBerg, then a beginner screenwriter, a story of demons where he infuses for the first time his expressionistic and humorous style that will become his trademark. In the same year he began a collaboration with Yann who developed for him the controversial Dragonfly patrol, a story of scouts staging some figures of the Second World War and, five years later, Lolo and Lollipop (1989).
